New Jersey has been very informative so far. Not only has the trail been well blazed, but whenever we take a wrong turn we’re met with these:

Thanks, ATC!

First thing this morning, though, we ran in to a pipeline being installed and met a different type of sign.

After a surprised construction worker had to walk all of us across the danger zone, we walked to High Point State Park, home to the highest point in New Jersey.

Jersey is not really known for its mountains.

We went down to the beach for the novelty of a concession stand and a free shower.

The Jersey Shore! Then we made our way slowly to the next shelter, just past Unionville where we were tempted to camp at the bar with friends.  We stopped in at the Murray property, which is a cool cabin overlooking beautiful property.

We also found Little Bird and Peppi there!

We were glad to be reunited but had to keep walking on.  Made it to the next shelter and camped with Hotspot.  Tomorrow we’re determined to get to the New York border!
