8/20 Black Brook Camping (20.1)

It was another great day of hiking with the new trail family.  We lost the Voice to Northern NORO; he dodged the dreaded virus in the South by starting so late, but was helpless against the second wave of disease… Hopefully he’ll catch up to us shortly.  In the meantime, we’re heading to a family reunion in Lyme in a week so we’ve got some hustling!

Don’t go that way Limey!

We found a perfect camping spot at the end of the day, just in time.  Actually, it was exactly big enough for the group of us, and presented us with an opportunity to work on our space management.

We spent the night reading Lovecraft to each other by the campfire and enjoying the cool piney breeze.
